FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why do all the work, when we could do it for you?
iSecondThat offers a service that allows you to sell your clothes hassle free, we understand that sometimes people don't have the time, knowledge or even sometimes the effort to sell their items themselves but we don't think you should throw away good money!
We work as a middle man which allows you to earn money by requesting a clear out pack, simply fill and then return to earn! It's an extra step that allows you to generate easy cash that you may sometimes just throw away or donate.
After 200 days of selling, the items that have sold you earn a % on, however any items that were rejected or have not sold will be donated to charity unless you have requested a returns package which is an additional paid service.
Unlike other companies where the client does alot of the work, as a company we have aimed to make selling your clothes as simple and bump free as possible. This does mean that we take a fee for the serivces that we provide.
Here are some of the services we include within our charges: (there is no charge to you directly this is through the difference of what you earn as a client) Please note: The more items you send in and the higher quality/brand the more you will earn.

We send the clear out packs folded so they fit through your letterbox. Each bag will fit approx 20 items in, depending on the items you are sending through.
For example if you are packing purely just shoes the bag will hold much less due to the weight.
We accept women's, men's and kids clothes, shoes and accessories. We do not restrict brands and do accept supermarket brands as they can still be loved!
Please note clothes must be in a sellable condition, we ask you to consider would you still wear it. For example clothes that have stains, holes, broken zips or missing pieces cannot be accepted.
All clothes must be washed, cleaned and odour free when sent.
For Women's Items we do not accept:

iSecondThat pride ourselves on the fact that we don't cap our brands, we understand that sometimes people can't always buy big branded items so may only have high street brands or supermarket brands to donate - so why should you miss out?
All we ask you do take into consideration is the quality of your item. If an item is already low priced with low quality we may have to reject this to charity.
We generate our prices from RRP vs secondhand prices on other competitive sites.
We do not accept counterfeit items. If we are unsure we will contact you for Authenticity. In order to have a smooth upload it's always best to send this through with the items.
Each bag requires a minimum of 5 items and will hold approx 7KG. You are able to request multiple bags of upto 3 currently.
Your items are priced through our CDQ checks (conditions, defects and quality)
Brands will impact your pricing as we work off current competitive prices on other websites or current sales via the brands website.
24h before launching your clothes, you will receive a break down and will have the option to make changes.
You will be emailed an update when we recieved your bag to our HQ.
After this period the bags will be processed through our CDQ check ( Conditions, Defects and Quality) - the items then will be processed, uploaded, photographed and edited.
Due to the amount of Clear Out Packs being ordered and us being a small business currently from the day your bag arrives to being live it's currently 4/5 weeks. You will receive an email with your exact date.
We do not have the services to do this, as we cannot guarantee that your item will be accepted.
Each item goes through a thorough CDQ check which means we assess the Condition, Defect and Quality of each item as well as the Brand.
We then use this information alongside it's RRP to create a rating for the item of clothing.
This is a special process which takes time as we want to make sure the quality of the clothes customers are purchasing will give them a great feeling when they open their items.
Please note that any items that do not pass our CDQ check will be automatically donated to a charity unless client (you) ticks to have this returned back at an additional cost.
Unfortunately due to the volume of items we receive, we are unable to provide feedback on individual decisions as to why these items have been rejected.
Your end value is based on the value of all items sold at the end of 200 Days. Please visit our Sell Page to see the % break down.
Please note if you have high end designer products please email customerservices@isecondthat.co.uk in advance with brands, authenticity if required and some photos would help massively :)
We offer a higher % for these items.
You will receive your payment at the end of the 200 day selling period.
Some people like to see it as a savings plan, they will tend to cash out around Christmas.
Any items that do not sell will be automatically donated to charity after 100 days unless you as a client have requested for your clothes to be sent back at the additional charge of £10 to cover all services.
To request your clothes back that do not sell or that are not accepted - you MUST request this service on the form or online application form. This service is an £10 fee for all service and time spent on items.
As a diverse business we have found that their are a variety of charities that we would love to support. So we have decided that every month we will choose a different charity to donate your clothes to. - see our charity page for information on who we have supported and currently donating to that month.
At the start of your selling period we send an email with the prices we have listed your items for.
You have 24h to make any alterations to prices, please note as a business we reserve the rights to discount at various points of your items journey to help sell your products.
We do offer sales, and promotions through marketing which will also mean the items are discounted.
Exciting times!
It has been taking approx 3-5 working days for your bag to arrive at our HQ.
If you haven't received your welcome email within 2 weeks of sending please email as this may be a missing parcel that we will need to escalate!
Once it arrives, we scan each bag and send you an email to confirm it has arrived.
It then is added to a queue of bags waiting to be processed.
Please note - due to a influx of bags requested over our launch period, we are currently taking approx 4/5 weeks for your items to be uploaded.
Your items will all get a CDQ check - this is to check for the condition, defect, quality and then the brand of your items.
If they do not pass our checks and you have not requested for your items to be returned they will automatically be donated to charity.
Items that do pass then, will go through a final check to make sure nothing has been missed, before it gets photographed and added to the inventory.
When loaded onto the inventory all the information for this item to be sold will be loaded individually with a price that has been matched depending on the RRP vs the items rating.
After we've assessed the condition of your items, added the data, taken the photos, and priced your items we will send you an email with all information about the items we have accepted and how much you are predicted to make - subject to all items selling.
LIVE! Your item is now ready to go live on our website.
SOLD! When your items sell, we will email you to let you know your final earnings. (Please note if items are valued in a higher bracket this could be reduced if not all items sell. Final % is based on actual items that SELL)
