Rebecca Smith founded iSecondThat to influence people that buying second hand clothes is 100% okay! She noticed a lot of negative stigma around buying second hand items especially from charity shops.

She also became aware through her own errors of how much un-used or nearly new items she owned herself but due to lack of time, knowledge or effort she just gave them away.

"The UK based chairty WRAP (The Waste and Resources Action Programme) has estimated that £140 Million worth of clothing goes to landfills each year, and a staggering £30 Billion worth of unused clothing is still in the wardrobes nationwide"

From this she decided she wanted to create a brand that would allow people to confidently buy and sell their unwanted clothes. Second hand does not mean a million years old, it just means someone else has bought it before you... However it could still be new with tags, nearly new or in great condition.

.

Our mission is to show people that they don't always have to buy fast fashion clothing - and to start shopping second hand!
